Ever find yourself wandering around the house trying to get an annoying melody out of your head?  Yup, me too.  It can stick with you for an entire day. . . or days!  But that’s the point.  One morning, I found myself singing in the shower about a certain local Mexican restaurant chain that shall remain nameless.  My wife and I had eaten there the night before.  True story.  When done right, jingles trigger emotions that can affect your business’s target audience, meaning more sales for you. . .

Okay, so we generally pride ourselves on being, ya know, a “Global” company.  We’ve created jingles, voiceovers, commercials and original music for clients everywhere from Des Moines, to Calgary, to London, to Johannesburg, to Moscow, to. . . well, you get the picture.  It seems to be limitless!  Today we did a voiceover session for Colgate with an agency from Miami and a rep from Panama on the line.  Tomorrow it’s a VO for a client in Russia.  Shrinking the world one recording session at a time.  It’s great!  Technology has it’s ups, and sometimes. . . downs.  But for the marketing/music/voice branding business. . . ALL IS GOOD!

So Creative Mills has been humming right along having a great year, right?  Loads of Jingles, Spots, Voiceovers.  Ah, life is good.  When suddenly, this little tidbit from The BBB Smartbrief came to our attention:  “Sixty-seven percent of the 1,088 smartphone users surveyed said they were more likely to make a purchase when visiting a business’s mobile-friendly site, versus 61 percent who said they’d most likely leave a site that wasn’t optimized for mobile.”  Translation. . .
